Updated Review from April 2015
Among all the solitaire games (I have now tried 25 or so), I thought this might be "the one".
I prefer to play with the device in "landscape view", & while the devs have fixed some issues, it still remains difficult to do because the cards are not in view unless you scroll (depending on which game u select). This means you may have cards on the tableau but not realize it. This is not an issue in portrait view.
On the positive side:
- Many features on the settings page for customization
- Fun graphics & Game Center integration
- Variety of games to play for free
On the negative side:
- No hint button means that you can NOT tell if there are any more plays available.
- No pop-up or message saying "game over" if you did not "win" to tell you to start over.
- No single click auto card play, but a click once on card you want to move and click again where you want it placed.
I wanted to give this game 5⭐️. I last rated in at 3⭐️. Since some of the previous issues have been fixed I believe it has earned a 4⭐️ rating, particularly if you prefer to play in portrait view. If you prefer to play in landscape view, you will be less happy with this app. I do hope the devs continue to improve the app, if the above issues were fixed, I would have no problem paying for the ad free version.
